Want a free Tablet Computer? Write an AIR app!
If you were at MAX this year, or perhaps just watching the video streams of the keynotes, you know that BlackBerry makers RIM are gearing up for the launch of their iPad-competing Tablet computer, the PlayBook. Not only does the device run Adobe AIR to make it easy to leverage your existing skills to build native applications, but RIM is offering an incredible incentive for developers: Write a PlayBook application, submit it to RIM's AppWorld app store, and have it approved before the PlayBook launches, and you'll get a free PlayBook out of the deal.
RIM provides the development SDK, simulator, documentation, examples, and webcasts & videos at their PlayBook Developer Resources page.
