Job Title: Systems Administrator (Systems Programmer)
Description: Provide primary and second-tier systems and network support for the Wharton School. Responsible for the installation, configuration, optimization, maintenance, evaluation, troubleshooting, inventory and replacement/retirement of hardware, OSes and applications. Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, Solaris, and core IT applications and ability to work with them in a complex, heterogeneous environment is preferred. Experience with and knowledge of networking concepts and system security is preferred. Other technologies of interest include Microsoft Exchange Server, SQL Server, ColdFusion and Flex, as well as Unix Grid and Parallel computing using Sun Grid Engine.
