ColdFusion Developer Wanted

We are seeking a ColdFusion developer to join our team of in-house developers. A long established, legal non-profit, in University City Philadelphia seeks talented individual with excellent programming skills, particularly ColdFusion web development. In addition to an open and casual atmosphere, the ability to change the way an organization run awaits the right candidate. A benefits package is available including health coverage, sick, personal, vacation, & 403B.

Job Description:

The position requires solid organizational, development, and communication skills. The successful candidate will be part of an in-house software development team expected to develop and deliver applications within set timeframes. In addition to coding in ColdFusion, a working knowledge of Flash and Java is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop applications and automated tasks primarily in ColdFusion and MS-SQL according to documented specifications
  • Work closely with the marketing / business development team
  • Write and review technical documentation

Qualifications and Experience:

  • BA/BS Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • ColdFusion including experience with CFCs and custom tags, Fusebox a plus, but not required
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • HTML, CSS required, AJAX (JQuery) beneficial
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently on projects while remaining part of the team.
