April Meeting: Vicky Ryder presents MediaSlurp

Vicky RyderFor our April meeting, Vicky Ryder will be stopping by to present MediaSlurp, which I like to think of as a case study in writing awesome applications.

MediaSlurp is a popular tool that delivers community-driven content to your desktop. The presentation gives an overview of how it was built by three people, in three weeks, leveraging the Adobe stack and community libraries: AIR, airORM, Flex, BlazeDS, ColdFusion 9 ORM, ColdSpring and Swiz. This presentation will give an overview of how the application works and an open Q & A about the tools, process and the MediaSlurp application.

Meeting Details:
When: Thursday, April 7th @ 6:00pm
Where: Wharton's Jon M. Huntsman Hall, Room F36
3730 Walnut St.
SEPTA: Trolley to 36th or 37th street stations
Parking: Closest: 38th & Walnut

You need to change your link to read www.mediaslurp.com as plain mediaslurp.com is not active for some reason.

Rick, not only does the link work without the "www" for me, but going to "www" redirects to the non-www url.
