Job Description
Enterprise Level, In-house position reporting to CIO

  • Primary responsibilities include developing and maintaining advanced web application and enterprise class database architecture and coding.
  • The applicant should have knowledge of hardware and network infrastructure.
  • Good communication and team skills are required to interact with the team.
  • The position will also include communication with support teams for incident resolution and/or product requirement clarification.
  • Good writing skills will be required.
  • Creation or assistance in the development of documentation, policies, procedures and product architecture will be required.

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Requirements of this Position Include:

  • HS Degree
  • Project Management experience desirable.
  • Experience architecting and coding enterprise class web applications.
  • 5+ years of experience coding in ColdFusion, SQL Server, HTML, Javascript and related technologies is required for this position.
  • Framework experience is required for this position.
  • Experience with OO programming and design patterns is highly desired. Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be energetic/enthusiastic
  • Detailed oriented; strong problem solving skills
  • Must be comfortable working under deadlines
  • Light travel may be required

The Technical Developer - Web (ColdFusion) creates, enhances, and maintains web-based applications that support the Hospital's mission of superior patient care by facilitating workflows and communications within the Hospital as well as between Hospital staff and current and prospective patients and their families.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate or provide a documented history of successfully applying most of the following skills, traits, and abilities:

  • Intermediate knowledge of and experience in ColdFusion (v5+), HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, SQL, and CGI.

ColdFusion Developer [Recruiter]

Our client is looking for a ColdFusion programmer on contract (possible contract to hire) basis to augment their existing team. Ideal candidate will be a mid-level developer who has been using Cold Fusion recently and is comfortable working independently in a high-volume production environment. 2-4 years of recent ColdFusion specific programming experience required. Should have facility working on multiple projects at the same time. This is a heads-down coding position.

The duration of the engagement is intended to be from April 1 through June 30, 2008 but an earlier start is possible. Work will be located at our Center City offices across from City Hall. Extension of the engagement or conversion to a full-time position is a possibility.
